Road Trip is the heaviest muscled yorkshire boar we have ever purchased. He had the largest loin eye (11.4) of any yorkshire boar at the 2009 Summer Type Conference in Louisville, KY. Road Trip’s loin is extremely wide with a huge groove down thru the center of his back. As you analysis him out thru his ham, he is extremely wide from stifle to stifle, with a huge dimple above his tail head. His massive body is packed full of muscle and he stands squarely on a huge foot and bone. With his average daily gain of 1.77, his offspring should be fast growning with excellent shape and explosive muscle. We believe Road Trip can be used to make tremendous yorkshire barrows and gilts, as well as being used on crossbred sows to make powerful, very competitive crosses.
