I hope that everyone is having a great farrowing season in the Midwest and a great show season in the southern and warmer climates of the U.S. 

What a weekend we had in Perry, Georgia this weekend at the 2010 NJSA Southeast Regional and the NSR Type Conference!  Gate Way was named the Reserve Premier Yorkshire Sire and Sun Tea was named Reserve Premier Hampshire Sire.  Fusion sired the Grand Champion Duroc Boar, Full Blown sired the Reserve Champion Duroc Gilt, One Ton sired the Champion Bred and Owned Yorkshire gilt and Full Size sired the Reserve Champion Bred and Owned Yorkshire gilt!  At the Denver Stock Show, Making History sired the Reserve Champion Berkshire.  Congratulations to all of the exhibitors, their families, and the breeders of these pigs!  We are very excited for you!!

We also purchased the Grand Champion Yorkshire boar from Thompson’s in Perry.  He is an Extremely powerful Yorkshire boar!  We will have pictures of Bulldog up very soon!!  Make sure you check back!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for March 13, 2010 for the Goldrush Customer Appreciation Sale in Richmond, IN at the Wayne Co. Fairgrounds.  We will be sending out information the first part of February, along with posting information on our website if you are interested in cosigning pigs to the sale.  We are very excited about pig reports and look forward to seeing you there!

We have a powerful set of November and December litters on the ground, along with several January litters. The Novembers are perfect for late spring shows and the World Pork Expo; along with the December litters that are great for the Summer Type Conference and the National Junior Summer Spectacular!  January litters are perfect for National, State, and county shows.  We are also very excited about the rest of our show pig line up that will be farrowing in January and February as well!  Give us a call if you would like more information or to purchase show pigs!  We are taking orders now!
