We are now taking orders for bred gilts to farrow in December, January, and February. When prebooking a bred gilt, we can breed the gilts to the boar of your choice and work with you on what genetic line you are working for. Joseph and Bradley are more than happy to help.
We have Hampshire, Duroc, Yorkshire, Landrace, Tamworth, Hereford, Chester, Spot, Berkshire and Crossbred gilts available.

BRED GILT GUARANTEE
All Bred Gilts come with a guarantee. We guarantee that the gilt will have 6 pigs total. We value the gilt at 60% of the purchase price and the litter at 40% of the purchase price. If the sow has less than 6 pigs then you will be credited on your account here at Goldrush for that difference. You MUST let us know within 7 days of farrowing to receive the full bred gilt guarantee.
For Example: If you purchase a bred gilt at $1500, the gilt is worth $900 and the litter $600.
If you gilt only has 5 pigs: You take the $600 the litter is worth, divide it by 6 and each pig is worth $100 a piece. Since she only had 5, you would get $100 credit on your account.
