With the popularity of OG and his versatility among breeds, we weren’t scared of gathering another calico and turning him loose on sows—especially when they look like this one! One of the truly heaviest-structured, most secure-footed ones we’ve ever seen with a hard back and a perfect neck.

Many who saw the 14s at John’s house last fall commented that it was the best litter of pigs they saw anywhere. This one is just so genuine, from his nose to his rear foot, but athletic with perfect pasterns. John Mollet’s breeding program has influenced the industry for years and this one’s pedigree ties in the most prolific sow lines at John’s place.

The 11 litter tricked out sows at John’s have been the staple and his mother is a sow he calls “11 Wide”. She’s an impressive animal. The 11s included 3 sale makers at Tulsa, Res Grand California, Dream On and Good Magic. It was an incredible litter. Going deeper, the Grandma is the infamous Lil Bro x Tier 1 sow on both sides of the pedigree—that is hard to do! We have big plans for this pig and think the sky is the limit on what he can get done!
