We purchased Rumble from Wendt’s dispersal sale. Rumble is making a big splash in the Hampshire breed and just sired the Champion Hampshire Barrow at the 2023 NAILE. Here is what Kevin Wendt had to say about Rumble: “I first saw Rumble when he was 75 pounds and was not even named Rumble. I tried to buy him that day and the next three times I saw him on every trip to Ada, Oklahoma after that initial visit. Joe decided to sell a semen share to a group of Hampshire breeders including Savage Genetics, Heimer Hampshires, and Wendt Livestock. Rumble has that ability to sire true Hampshire muscle shape and bone more than most Hampshire boars available today. His stout features, huge legs, and athletic nature make him a boar with tremendous upside. Numerous champions have been sired by Rumble including the Champion Boar at the Missouri State Fair purchased by Heimer and the popular Ava Humphrey gilt purchased by Premium Blend at Louisville. His first daughters have been excellent in the crate as well.  His mother, 1-4, is a front pasture sow.
